Suffering from a lack of intensity, this four attraction haunt isn't a venue we would recommend to anyone looking for the scariest attractions in New Jersey. Definitely worth a visit if you are local and nearby.

This up and coming haunted attraction is without a doubt the most intense experience in New Jersey! Brighton Asylum offers more then just your traditional Halloween experience. Opening their doors multiple times throughout the year for other haunted events on Valentine's Day and Christmas! We highly recommend this venue!

Falling victim to a lack of updates, C. Casola Farms was unchanged from a Pre-FrightTour visit. Offering four attractions, C. Casola Farms does not live up to their sites description of, '4 Terrifying Attractions'.

A hidden gem off the beating track, Cornfield of Terror is a basic but yet very effective and refreshing take on a haunted cornfield. Boasting many startling scares, creepy grounds and atmosphere... it is an awesome event to plan for the perfect chilly night in October! We SCREAMINGLY recommend this attraction to anyone looking for a good scare at a great price!

Just a short hop, skip and jump from Six Flags Great Adventure... Dracula's Domain is a little hidden gem off of Route 537. Boasting three attractions including a haunted hayride, haunted cornfield and trail it is ten times better than the highly over ranked Fright Fest event nearby!

If you're looking for the biggest and best scares then we wouldn't recommend Schaefer's Frightfest. The four attractions take on a family fun approach leaving the intense in your face scares for other venues in New Jersey!

The haunted forest is unlike anything you have ever experienced. There are real trails leading through hundreds of trees, and real swamps. You will pass mine shafts and actual dungeons filled with demons and ghouls. The haunted forest is outdoors, so you better stay on the trail and not run.

Celebrating 18 years of scares, Brookdale Performing Arts Center’s Haunted Theater is locally regarded as one of the scariest and most immersive Halloween attractions in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This indoor, self-guided walk-through haunted house maze – which is designed, built and operated by more than a 100 Brookdale students, staff, faculty, alumni and community members – features themed mazes, pitch black zones, and special effects, all contained within the walls of the Performing Arts Center.

The haunted woods is an annual event that takes place in Oldbridge, NJ, the last two weekends in October. It is a walk through our haunted woods filled with displays, lights, sound, and live actors lurking about.

Boasting a total of four attractions including a haunted hayride, The Playground, The Harvest and Dark Dreams...Night of Terror is definitely something to do if in the southern NJ area. Aside from the awesome hayride, Night of Terror has something with clowns! Make sure to finish the night with The Playground, it will not disappoint!

Receiving our first and only "inconclusive" rating, Nightmare at Gravity Hill could not be reviewed in full due to situations beyond the control of Al and his team. Therefore, I felt it necessary to NOT review this attraction based off the experience during our 2019 FrightTour.

Located at the Oasis Family Farm and boasting a total of two attractions including; Blackout Haunted House and The Woods! This hidden little gem in Central Jersey is a decent haunt with lengthy and scary attractions.

In 2018 Pantophobia returns to Montvale, New Jersey. The legend of Cyrus Grain is growing, he has been seen lurking in the woods near his family's old farmhouse.

Repetitive as well as actor and intensity lacking, Scare Farm doesn't live up to the name. Boasting three attractions, this scare farm delivered a thrown together feel. We would highly recommend looking elsewhere for that perfect scream this Halloween season!

Overall, Scary Rotten Farms wasn't scary nor rotten. There is major potential as the foundation of each haunt is creepy... creepy clowns and creepy woods. With a little bit of direction, downsizing and increased intensity, Scary Rotten Farms could be a major terrifying attraction.

Set in a historical wool mill from 1810 that now hosts a museum, the Haunted Village has been providing scares to tri-state residents for 28 years. The mill is transformed into 3 stories of twists and turns, never knowing what kind of ghouls and zombies you’ll encounter with your next step.

Located at The Berkley Hotel in Asbury Park, New Jersey, The Haunting is a one attraction haunt housed in the haunted ballrooms of this massive hotel. Thrown together and lacking direction, creativity and well....scares. I would suggest passing this up and visiting something else in the area.
